Thursday Night Football (CFB & NFL)

Tonight starts a stretch of 27 straight days of college and professional football. That is some of the best news the Cold Take Sports crew has herd in months. We have both CFB and NFL tonight with a few matchups that have resulted in a few plays from our guy PC. Check out what he likes below!

Baltimore Ravens +.5 1H (-120) 2U

The NFL has finally blessed us with a matchup that is worth watching on thursday night. This one seemed to be even better before the season started with 2 of the super bowl favorites but a rocky start for both have them in a must win situation. My angle on this game is isolating the Ravens to the first half where they have been one of the best teams in football this year. The Ravens problems have been late in games where they seem to blow a 10 point lead every week. Taking them 1st half allows for us to avoid those woes and a late comeback from TB12. I like this score at half to be 14-13 with the Ravens ahead. Take the Ravens.

Washington State +7 vs Utah (-110) 1U

Thursday night in Pullman, Washington at Matin Stadium is going to produce one wild atmosphere to say the least. The Cougars have gotten off to a interesting start this year starting 3-0 with a win @ Wisconsin basically resulting is Paul Crist getting fired. since then they are 1-3 with a heartbreaking loss at home against Oregon and 2 road loses against USC and Oregon St. Big bad Utah comes into tonight off of massive win against USC 2 weeks ago. The one thing that Utah has struggled with this year has been going on the road. they have started the season 1-2 on the road with the only win over horrible Arizona St. The Cougars have proven to be a tough team at home starting 3-1 with the only lose to Oregon where they blew a 12 point 4th quarter lead. I think they give the Utes all they want tonight and keep this one close in a 31-28 loss. Take the Cougars.
