Its the first Monday night football game of the year ladies and gentlemen. We particularly love the Monday Night game because it can help us get our week started on the right foot. We have two plays for the people from our guys Peter Cornell and Henry Porter.

Pick: Denver Broncos Team Total Under 24.5 Points
Seattle and Pete Carroll know that the way to win this football game will be a strong defensive effort. They will look to lean on the 12th man to create a rowdy and crazy environment to create havoc for the bronco offense. With Geno Smith leading the way for the Seahawk offense, look for the defense to play well to make up for the less than average offense. I see the Seahawk defense to force a turnover or two but still lose this one 20-14. Take the Under if you like as well.
Peter Cornell
Pick: Seattle Seahawks +7 (-130)
I waited and got the best of this number at +7 versus taking +6.5 at EV money. The line has been fluctuating alot from book to book so shop around and try and find a +7 out there. Now for the handicap of the game. I get that Geno Smith is the quarterback leading this offense and they have a defense that will feature some new faces. I know Russell Wilson will be on the other sideline tonight and Bobby Wagner is in LA now. This is a pure number play for me. This line blowing all the way up to +7 is just too much for me. The positives are the Seahawks still have 2 elite receivers in DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. Running back Rashaad Penny had a really good finish to last season and looks to build off of that going into this season. I think the defense can feed enough off of the loud and proud 12th man to get some stops against this solid bronco offense. I see this one ending 24-20 Broncos. Take the Seahawks +7.
